What
a wonderful event!!!!.
One
could not fault the organisation/ marketing etc - right on the button. Resulted
in a very enjoyable time. Thank you heaps.
Top
job, please pass congrats on to Tony Brazier and the team for what we hope will
become an annual event for the women.
Go GOB'ers!!!
We
all achieved results that far exceeded any of our expectations and are now
continuing our training for round Lake Brunner.
We
are all looking forward to improving our times next year.
Once
again, thank you so very much for all of your sound advice and an extremely fun
event
I
have never competed in a cycle race before but you made me get on my bike and
put the hours of training in, which I really enjoyed. I live in Methven and the feedback from everyone I have
spoken to in the town is excellent and now they will be looking forward to next
year!
It
was a really fun event with a great atmosphere. Thanks so much for your efforts in making it happen and I’ll
see you next year.
“This
is just the best organized, best marshalled, most hospitable ride in the
country”
I
just wanted to share what a fantastic ride I had on saturday. Coming from
Wellington it was lovely to cycle in different terrrain and country side.
Just
wanted to say a quick thank you for such a well run event, as my first cycle
event it was great fun to be part of, am looking forward to next year already.
It was
a great event and a fabulous day for women to get out there - in all shapes and
sizes, and ride till they were stuffed. I will definitely be back...
Just
a note to say what an enjoyable, fantastic event Girls on Bikes was. I entered the 37km ride and having
never ever been in an event like it, I was so impressed with the organisation,
and basically the whole experience!!!!. My fear wasn't of biking in a large group but of
getting a puncture, and seeing how many girls didn't know how to change a tyre
(me included) have decided put paid to that (for myself personally) and learn how to do repairs myself
(relying on 'hoping it doesn't happen' isn't good enough and doesn't always work).
